Summary

Nothing's stronger than the bond--or the rivalry--between brothers!

Mild-mannered Mob has never realized that his younger brother Ritsu, who enjoys all the social success that Mob lacks, nurtures a hidden, desperate envy for the thing Mob possesses that he doesn't--Mob's psychic superpowers。 But when Ritsu's own powers awaken at long last, the story turns towards a shocking new direction!

Ritsu whyyyyyyy you gotta act like this, giving me those Sasuke vibes 😵 I wasn't gonna rate these but oh yes I'm loving where this story is going and LIVING for those Mob moments, they give me Ken Kaneki flashbacks lolThis is 5 stars because its an easy lay back manga when you don't want to find yourself thinking to much and enjoy a few fight scenes here and there。 Ritsu whyyyyyyy you gotta act like this, giving me those Sasuke vibes 😵 I wasn't gonna rate these but oh yes I'm loving where this story is going and LIVING for those Mob moments, they give me Ken Kaneki flashbacks lolThis is 5 stars because its an easy lay back manga when you don't want to find yourself thinking to much and enjoy a few fight scenes here and there。 。。。more

Almost forgot how much I like Shigeo。 His character is pretty awesome, and not just because of how strong he is。 I can't wait to see his character growth。 Almost forgot how much I like Shigeo。 His character is pretty awesome, and not just because of how strong he is。 I can't wait to see his character growth。 。。。more

This volume is so good, is one of my favorites so far, it shows very well Ritsu as something more than Mob's brother, and i have to mention that the art style is not that bad in my opinion。 This volume is so good, is one of my favorites so far, it shows very well Ritsu as something more than Mob's brother, and i have to mention that the art style is not that bad in my opinion。 。。。more

2。5 because the theme established in the previous chapters goes out the window with no explanation。 (view spoiler)[understandably mob would be faster to violence when someone other than himself is threatened—to say nothing of the fact that it's his brother—but even then, to have mob surrender so easily to using his psychic powers against another human when it had just been shown that he refused to use them against teru until something else took over his body。。。the cohesion isn't present。is it no 2。5 because the theme established in the previous chapters goes out the window with no explanation。 (view spoiler)[understandably mob would be faster to violence when someone other than himself is threatened—to say nothing of the fact that it's his brother—but even then, to have mob surrender so easily to using his psychic powers against another human when it had just been shown that he refused to use them against teru until something else took over his body。。。the cohesion isn't present。is it not vital for mob to restrain himself due to his immense power? the conflict comes from his contradictory existence of repression and over-excess。 (hide spoiler)] ritsu becoming power-hungry à la anakin is a cliche trope but nonetheless enjoyable to read, and realistic in the context of his family situation。 the plot seems to be pivoting toward something more generic, but teru and mob working together should be fun。 。。。more

A cumulation of everything that's come prior。 The first half focuses on Ritsu, Mob's little brother。 He's given a push which changes his personality, still doesn't make him interesting。 Not that I think Mob is that interesting but his interactions with people are class and his deadpan makes me laugh。 I'd give this portion of it a 2 out of 5, nothing really happens and when it doesn't it's only because of someone else。 The second half is back with Mob, still loving his time with Tome。 I'm hoping A cumulation of everything that's come prior。 The first half focuses on Ritsu, Mob's little brother。 He's given a push which changes his personality, still doesn't make him interesting。 Not that I think Mob is that interesting but his interactions with people are class and his deadpan makes me laugh。 I'd give this portion of it a 2 out of 5, nothing really happens and when it doesn't it's only because of someone else。 The second half is back with Mob, still loving his time with Tome。 I'm hoping they become a couple, they're very cute together。 In this Mob actually shows so emotion which is a nice change of pace, you still get the deadpan to。 The action scenes are a lot better as well, for once there seems to be actual stakes, I'd give this a 4 out of 5。 Both are tied together by (view spoiler)[ Dimple (hide spoiler)], strangely the most fleshed out and easily the most enjoyable character。 。。。more

4/5 Stars (%78/100)It was a pretty good volume overall。 Things got interesting regarding Ritsu and the whole Awakening Lab plot。 A lot happens in this book with Ritsu awakening his powers, meeting new characters, and importantly, the introduction of Claw。 Koyama from Claw is introduced and he is an extremely powerful esper who goes head to head with Mob (well at least before the explosion)。 The fight between him and Mob was great。 I also like this evil esper organization。 The ending of the volum 4/5 Stars (%78/100)It was a pretty good volume overall。 Things got interesting regarding Ritsu and the whole Awakening Lab plot。 A lot happens in this book with Ritsu awakening his powers, meeting new characters, and importantly, the introduction of Claw。 Koyama from Claw is introduced and he is an extremely powerful esper who goes head to head with Mob (well at least before the explosion)。 The fight between him and Mob was great。 I also like this evil esper organization。 The ending of the volume is also pretty interesting。 。。。more

Because we’re making way for intense fights and drama, boiiiiiss!!!The volume in which (view spoiler)[Ritsu teams up with Dimple and turns to the dark side as he beats up pretty much everyone。 During one such beating Mob finds out his brother is doing a bad but their brotherly love gets interrupted by an adult psychic from the organization Claw。 He and Mob proceed to have the manga version of one of the most epic fights from the anime, but due to aerosol trickery Mob is knocked out and Ritsu is kidnapped by the Claw guy。 It’s now up to Mob and the volunteer Teru to save not only Ritsu but the rest of the Psychic Awakening kids who were also kidnapped by Claw (to be continued in the next volume) (hide spoiler)]。Yo these volumes are such insanely fast reads。 Each volume has nine chapters—which is actually a lot considering weekly shonen manga usually have seven chapters per volume—but it doesn’t feel like it at all。 The pacing is so smooth and the action so riveting that the pages fly by by the second until I’m forced to realize that it’s the end of the volume。 I swear it feels like I finished this volume in like 30 minutes; Which is insane because it usually takes me an hour and a half to finish a volume of manga, or an hour if it’s really fast-paced。 But in reality if I look at the receipts: I think this did take me an hour to read。 It just felt way faster。 No time for a lengthy review, I wanna keep reading! A very intense installment in the series, it kept me on the edge of my seat and guessing every step of the way what choices the characters would make and what would happen as a result。 Mostly in Ritsu's POV but Mob is involved as well as Teru and Dimple。 A very intense installment in the series, it kept me on the edge of my seat and guessing every step of the way what choices the characters would make and what would happen as a result。 Mostly in Ritsu's POV but Mob is involved as well as Teru and Dimple。 。。。more
